Announcement About April 12 Online Meeting
At this Zoom meeting, for paid subscribers, we will discuss ways to enable free play for children in today’s world.
Dear friends,
On Saturday, April 12, beginning at 2:00 pm U.S. Eastern Time, we will have our third online meeting for paid subscribers. The topic will be Ways to Enable Free Play for Kids in Today’s World. It will be a follow-up to Letter #46 Thirteen Ways to Enable Free Play and Other Independent Activities for Your Kids You might want to read or re-read that before the meeting.
My plan is that we will follow the same format as we did at the March meeting. I’ll begin with an overview of ideas, then, I hope, we will turn to short presentations (about 5 minutes each) by three or four volunteers who can share their own experiences meeting or trying to meet the challenge of enabling free play for kids, and then we will move to questions and comments from all attendees.
If you are a paid subscriber and are interested in possibly being a member of the panel, please let me know in the comments section of this letter. Please include a brief description of the specific experience or experiences you would like to share, and your email address so I can get back to you. We will focus especially on the problem of enabling social play, with other kids, with no or minimal adult involvement in the play.
The rest of this letter, which includes the link necessary to register for the Zoom meeting, is open to paid subscribers only. You can unlock the rest by becoming a paid subscriber.
With respect and best wishes,
Peter
